The 55th edition of the Super Bowl, which is called Super Bowl LV, is held at Raymond James Stadium. The stadium, situated in Tampa, Florida, USA, is the home ground of Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lamar Hunt, the owner of Kansas City Chiefs from AFL, first proposed the name Super Bowl for that championship game. After several procedures, the name “Super Bowl”, which was proposed by Hunt, was established to represent the game.
After negotiation between AFL and NFL, these two leagues were merged and two main conferences were introduced under the NFL in the year 1970. One is the National Football Conference (NFC) and the other one is the American Football Conference (AFC). Both of these two conferences run their won regular season every year. The Champions of these two conferences now play each other in the Super Bowl every year.
